— A tranquil and mellow home
Experience Level:

Hi People,,

My name is Casey and I’m a handsome and loving fluffy boy who is probably part Doodle, weighs almost 15 pounds, is eight years young and with quite a story to tell.
In the story, our hero (that’s me) wanders away from his original home and becomes quite lost. Then a Good Samaritan sees him wandering, rescues him and takes him to a scary place called a shelter. But our hero is a very lucky guy because the nice people at Bichon FurKids hear about him and decide to help. You see he (I mean me) has these things called ‘allergies’ and needs medication and some special food. So they help the hero get exactly what he needs. After that our hero—oh, forget it, you know I mean “me” goes to a wonderful foster home where he is loved and cared for, recovers, gets to cuddle and receive lots of love. Then he, I mean I, get to find a forever home and live happily ever after! Hooray!
Even though I had kind of a difficult journey previously (another home with some nice people but a big dog…which did not work out), my foster Mom says I believe in keeping a cheerful outlook on life. I’m friendly and cute, like to go for walks and rides in the car. Did I mention I am totally housebroken? (That’s not a typo! I even go to the door and bark to be let outside.) And did I also mention that I’m a great communicator? I have all these different sounds that I make. For example I have one sound that says “Please cuddle with me” and another that says “Who’s that person on our walk?” Then there’s the “Are we going for a walk” sound –and a whole bunch of other sounds. Mom can interpret them and knows what they mean! (Did I mention that she’s very smart and ‘talks dog’? She says I am very smart too!)
I like to follow Mom everywhere and soak up as much attention as I can! I’m a MAJOR lapdog who is endearing, irresistible – and a CUDDLER! I seem to like women the most but Dad says I’m sweet and always happy. Of course I am! I feel so much better now and am living the life I was meant to live.
My Ideal Home:
* Someone home most of the time
* An adult preferred (ladies especially)
* A tranquil and mellow home
Experience level:
* Have had dogs as an adult
* Recent dog experience a plus
So if you have a quiet home, like to cuddle and are interested in a great guy who is filled with love and is looking for his new best friend, we should meet! I promise to be the very best companion you could ever hope for! And you can help me write the end of the story where the hero rides off into the sunset with a love song playing in the background and everyone knows it’s a happy ending!
Tail wags and snuggles,
Charming and Cuddly Casey

Rylee will have orthopedic surgery January 10th which will enable her to move freely and live a normal life. She has shown her foster family that she’s an adaptable sweetheart who likes other dogs and people – and quickly fit right in!

Our BFK Aunties says that I, Buddy, am the quintessential bichon. I have gorgeous brown eyes, love to be petted, have my head scratched and do a great pattycake, while standing on my back legs. I’m a bit more confident than Patty and very eager to please. I don’t know any commands yet but am willing to learn. I’m curious about the other dogs we meet on our walks but have had very limited exposure to any outside of Patty.
Now, as for Patty: he is as cute as they come and an amazing listener! Mom says he flips his ears up when he’s listening, usually accompanied by tilting his head. He looks simply adorable – and obviously wants to please. Mom is trying to build his confidence as he’s curious about a lot of things but very lacking in experience of the real world!
Our Ideal Home MUST Have:
The holidays are always a time of juggling. These boys are good with children, adults and love to ride in the car. They miss being walked and held.

Cooper’s foster Dad has a family emergency and is flying out on Jan. 2nd. We are looking for an experienced foster or foster to adopt, preferably with no other pups so that they/he/she can work on Cooper’s training issues.

My foster Mom says I have puppy dog eyes that look at you with love and look deeply into your soul. When Mom was asked what I do that is cute she said “Everything.” (Aw geez Mom, that’s so nice to hear!) When she comes in the door I turn in happy circles to greet her. Then there’s my dinner ‘routine’. I hop on my back legs and twirl around looking pretty adorable. I also like to chomp on frozen vegetables. Mom says they are good for me and I like to make the way they ‘crunch’.
I’m also a great walker and rider. When Mom grabs her keys, I know we’re going to work. (I get to go with her and hang out all day.) I love getting in the car and lie perfectly still for the ride. That’s another thing that makes me a great companion. I’m what she calls ‘fully engaged’ with life.
