Hello New Friends!

My name is Marvelous Marlo and I’m a lover and a keeper, a little (13 pound) bichon of eight who is known for my expressive eyes and tail wagging personality. Mom says that I’m as cute as can be, sweet, happy, love to cuddle and have an easy going nature. I LOVE to go on walks and rides in the car! I’m the world’s best traveler (I’m not bragging! That’s what Mom says) and I love being a companion!

Another thing that makes me extra special is my ability to adapt. You see I’m very social and like everyone I meet. Mom said I’m a kind of social butterfly (but I’m really not a butterfly, silly Mom!) Whether it’s meeting new people on our walks and trips to the store or when friends come over (they are called company) I love being with people. You see they talk to me or pet me then I look into their eyes and presto! it’s love.

I am also a snuggler. I like to snuggle with people – and that there is nothing I would rather do that curl up in your lap and rest my head on your shoulder. Mom says that makes me irresistible. I’m also compassionate. Why when my doggy foster brother was injured I would lie down in the bed and comfort him so he would feel better.

Did I mention I’m housebroken, love to give doggy kisses and licks — and love to cuddle? Yes, that’s all true!

Mom says I also know how to do a lot of ‘useful’ things. For example, I know some commands, walk beautifully on a leash and mastered the doggy door the first day! How’s that for smart? (And how happy that makes mom too! She says I’m such a good girl.)

My very favorite thing in the world is to be with my people. Mom says I am a gentle girl, who just yearns for attention. I need somebody to give me lots of love – and I give it right back too. I’m eager to please and looking for a loving forever home.

Marvelous and Memorable Marlo

Hello Everyone!

My name is Enchanting and Endearing Evie — and I’m a sweet and gentle bichon of about eight. I’m a dainty little girl with expressive brown eyes who loves other dogs, the big people called adults and the little ones called children. Why I love practically everything and everyone— except giraffes and elephants!

My foster mom says I’m a smart and gentle little lady who is calm, sweet natured and rarely barks. I listen well and pay very close attention to what you have to say. I’ve already learned to sit for my treats and come when I’m called. I’m looking forward to learning new commands as well. Do you want to teach them to me? I’d love to learn and please you too!

Did I mention that I LOVE to go for walks (even though I’m little I can walk for a mile and enjoy it!) and I LOVE to go for rides!? Dad says that people approach me because I’m so friendly, cute and calm! And because I’m so little (about nine pounds) you can take me anywhere!

I like to wear my harness because my hair was very matted when I came in to rescue and I had to be shaved down. It’s growing back beautifully now and soon I will be all fluffy (and according to my Aunties even cuter!) When I’m not walking or riding in the car, I love to nap on my blankie in my very own bed. I like to roll around and scrunch up the blankie and make it ‘just right’. Mom says I have a great big smile on my little face when I do that, too!

Dad says you may have heard about my story and that I’m somewhat famous. You see, I had these ginormous bladder stones that had to be removed. They weighed more than one pound and that’s really a lot! Well I had that surgery and am happy to say I feel great now! And there is no doubt that I was a trooper through it all! The only needs I have now are to be loved and to spend lots of time with my humans.

Mom and Dad know that there is a special family out there looking for a sweet, smart and loving little girl who is a joy to have around. I hope that’s you and that you will ask for me. I will be waiting to meet you.

Enchanting, Endearing and Expressive Evie

Hello World!

My name is Joyous Joey and I’m a cute little guy who is six years young (or is it old?) and simply adorable. Now I’m not bragging but everyone that meets me says I’m a ‘cutie patootie’. I’m not exactly sure what that means but my foster Mom says I’m ‘adorbs’ and that everything I do is adorable!

Mom says I’m 13 pounds of fun – and so happy that I smile – and wag my tail – all the time (except when I’m lying in your arms and cuddling!) Besides being charming, kind, cuddly, delightful and happy, I’m also obedient, playful and want to please! Sound good? Then please read on!

Mom says that I’m equal parts sweet and shy, a darling little guy who just wants to be around you- in your lap, by your side, next to you in bed, on a car ride. As long as I’m with you, I’m fine. Did I mention that I LOVE the carwash – and drive-thrus? When you’re actually driving, I’m pretty calm and love to look out the closed window. At the drive-thru I sometimes growl at the men inside but listen to Mom and am obedient.

Aside from literally looking like a little teddy bear (seriously, if I say, Tom Holland were a dog, it would be me!), my best quality is that I’m just a great little friend. (And I promise I’ll be the bestest companion to some lucky person or couple!)

While I am shy at first, I’m finding that there are lots of pretty special human beings in this world that I can like and who like me! I’m learning that love and attention are good things! Mom is helping me become more comfortable with new people – and I’m generally better with women than men. That’s because I’m what she says is ‘discerning’ — but a gentle man can probably win me over. Oh! and I’ve discovered that ear scratches and belly rubs are pretty neat! So sign me up for more of them, please!

Mom calls me “Super Glue” because I bonded with her in about two seconds. She says I’m a happy, sweet, and social little love bug and a pretty typical bichon in many ways. So you will not be surprised to know that I like to play, go for walks and participate in all that life has to offer!

Did I mention that I’m housebroken (no typo there) and am also learning commands! Why I already come when I’m called (that’s more than some of my bichon cousins do!) and I’m learning “sit.”

Hello Everyone!

My name is Lovable, Lively Lacey — and I am a darling little havanese puppy who is 10 months young (or is it 10 months old?) I’m a little femme fatale of a puppy who will be a wonderful addition to any family. My foster mom says that as cute as I am, I’m equally loving. While I love to play with my foster fur buddies (both dogs and cats), I also love to just sit in your lap and be petted. Mom says that I also love to “help” her when she works at her computer, when I’m not playing with my doggy foster ‘siblings’, that is! And did I mention that I love to play fetch and love my ball? Well I DO love to play with my ball – and play, and play, and play!

Oh and then there are walks. I LOVE to walk! And rides! You guessed it! I LOVE to ride in the car! Mom says I’m the bestest co-pilot ever. I help her get to wherever we are going!

Dad says I’m housebroken (I even tell him when I need to go out!), learning commands (I’ve already mastered ‘sit’ and am working on others!) am friendly, smart and gentle. He says I love to give doggy kisses to everyone I meet – and that everyone who sees me comments on how gorgeous and adorable I am. Dad says I’m very good at stealing hearts (I told Dad I’m a good girl and I would never steal anything. He just smiles and pats my head.)

Mom says that I’m also a treasure – and that I have the best disposition in the world!!! She thinks I would do best in a family with another young active furkid and respectful children– and that only the most special family will be right for me! Mom knows that there is one waiting to adopt this darling little bichon girl.

Hello New Friends,

My name is Magnificent Marnie and I’m a beautiful and amazingly happy Bichon girl who is as affectionate as I am adorable. (Now, I’m not bragging! That’s what everyone says about me!) I’m a friendly six year old girl with a sweet face to match my sweet spirit – and the most beautiful brown eyes that look deeply into your soul. I’m also a bigger girl (about 20+ pounds) but I’m all lean muscle and simply beautiful!

While I love to play with my toys, I also love to sit on your lap and cuddle (and maybe even catch a few winks.) I could stay there all day ‘cause I like to give (and receive) love. Mom says I’m a pretty, feminine and delightful pup who is beautiful, sweet and loving.

My BFK Aunties say that I’m attentive and adoring — and that I truly enjoy LIFE. If I’m with my doggy foster siblings, I get along with them–however being with my special person or people is more important to me.

I’m also a unique combination — of love and spunk! I love humans of all ages, shapes and sizes – from wee people to big people and everything in between. I’m also independent, energetic and self-reliant! While I can run and walk with ‘the best of them’ I’m also mellow and simply one of the world’s best companions!

When I came into rescue I was a bit ‘discombobulated’ as I had lost my home, family and the pups I was living with. My ‘original mom’ thought I would do fine being the center of someone’s attention as she loved me very much but had very little time to spend with me or any of her pups. She had two toddlers and a fulltime job so we know that I get along with small children too.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Welcoming Willie and I’m a warm-hearted, winsome bichon of two who weighs in at a perfect 17 pounds, loves to ‘talk’ and to hug! I’m so talented that I actually ‘talk’ while I’m hugging you. And if you ask for a hug, well I’m ready to respond and do so without hesitation!

Mom says I’m friendly (with people and pups), super smart (I learn quickly and I’m training her very well too!) and I love to go for walks. But, there is something else you need to know – I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to go for rides in the car. If you want to go for 10 minutes or 10 hours, that’s fine with me. You’d have to look far and wide to find a better companion than I am! (Mom says I even follow her to the car when she’s taking out the garbage as I simply want to GO!)

Did I mention that I’m housebroken, use the doggie door (I mastered it quickly!) and am VERY responsive. I come when my name is called, am very obedient and am learning commands. “Sit” is my favorite because I know it already (and it usually means something good is going to happen!)

Mom says once I learn to trust you I’m ‘all yours.’ Going slow and gentle is the best way to win me over. Since I’m a foodie, you can also win me over with treats. My BFK Aunties think I came from a home where I did not get a lot of attention so I do crave and appreciate it now that I’m accustomed to it. And I DO love to cuddle and show both my affection and appreciation!
